Audio testing station - Here, we test headphones and MP3 players, as well as audio outputs of all relevant consumer electronics devices.

loudspeaker measurements

Directional characteristic - For loudspeaker measurements, the AVTOP test lab uses a precision turntable that can be adjusted to an accuracy of 0.1 degrees. We use this to measure the directivity of the speaker, which determines how the speaker will sound for those not positioned on the so-called zero-degree axis, and therefore also the way the sound will excite the room in which the speaker is operating. Acoustic influences of the listening environment are eliminated by means of specialized measurement procedures.

- mobile telephones (including battery life, sound quality of MP3 playback, and acoustic tests).

AVTOP is a member of the Blu-ray Group Germany

As an independent test laboratory, AV T.O.P. Messtechnik GmbH is a new member of the Blu-ray Group of Germany, and therefore also of the German group of companies in the Blu-ray Disc Association (BDA).
AVTOP has set its sights on defining standards, and ensuring optimal picture and sound quality in collaboration with hardware and software manufacturers.

editorial services

With an integrated editorial department, AV T.O.P. Messtechnik is also in the position to offer editorial services such as comparative testing or service articles. Even translation of articles into English by a technically-experienced translator is possible. Our customers already include countless renowned publishers and online media companies.
